Director of Family Discipleship

We are looking for a spirit-filled team member who has a desire to build up the ministry of the domestic church by accompanying and partnering with parents as they strive to discover, follow, and worship Jesus and share Jesus with their children. This important position will provide direction, leadership and support for a discipleship-oriented approach to faith formation for all members of the family.

St. Pius X is a vibrant Catholic Parish of over 1,700 families in Appleton. We are excited to offer this new full-time position that will oversee the parish's ministry toward parents and children. The position comes with a full benefits package including Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, along with retirement and vacation.

Responsibilities include coordinating and growing our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. Working with the Family Discipleship Department to provide support to family members at all stages of their faith journey.

The ideal candidate would have a degree in theology or related area. Either have training in Catechesis of the Good Shephard Shepherd (CGS) or willingness to attend training sessions. Candidates are also expected to live a Christ-centered life centered on daily prayer and frequent reception of the sacraments.
